An import from Down Under, Nichole Kidman has become one of the most respected actresses of her generation. Born in Honolulu, the family moved to Washington, D.C. before making Sydney their permanent residence three years later. After ballet, Kidman took an interest in acting, studying drama and mime. She dropped out of high school to pursue an acting career. She met future husband, Tom Cruise, on the set of 1990‰ÛªsåÊDays of Thunder. They married that same year. They eventually adopted two children, Isabella and Connor. The couple infamously divorced in 2001. She met second husband, Australian country artist Keith Urban, at an Australian event held in Los Angeles in 2005. They hit it off right away and married in June the next year.
