Her parents are divorced. Aguilera has four siblings, Casey, Michael, Stephanie and Rachel. She married Jordan Bratman on November 19, 2005, and they divorced in 2011. On January 12, 2008, Aguilera gave birth to a son named Max Liron Bratman.
In 1988, Aguilera became a contestant on Star Search. She finished in second place. In 1993, Aguilera joined the New Mickey Mouse Club. She signed with RCA Records in 1998. She released her first album, Christina Aguilera, in 1999. She released her second album, Stripped, in 2002. In 2006, Aguilera released her third album Back to Basics.
